The year was 2011& in the month of july,me n my frnd n some very young people aged above 60 planned a trek to Ratangad.
Group Members -- Abhijit Tawde,Aditi Sardesai,Saran Phansalkar,Patkar kaka n his wife,Aditis mom n dad
All member apart from me aditi n sarang were above 50 n trekking since last 25-30 years so they were hardcore trekkers........
Its a two day trek.........
As planned we hired a Four Wheeler for the same n started our journey early morning at 5.00 a.m on 16th july i.e saturday n on the way just before kasara ghat we had quick breakfast n reached base village ratanwadi around 9.45 am............ it was not raining that much as it was a start of monsoon season bt climate was pleasant
so after packing our sacks finally started the trek.the initial route was bit confusing so we took guide fron the village as sson as we started marching towards the fort n tb as we looked at top whole fort was covered with thick fog indicating that its raining heavily as fort is situated at 4255 ft
after goin through flowing water.....we were on the right way so we gave 50 rs to guide for helping us.
